I just joined and need help understanding what all the different profile colors and symbols on the map. Is there a list of meanings on the site?

I am new to this and need some help. There is a cruising spot on sniffies where it looks like people just park their cars (it's near a walking trail). How does it work? Do you sit in your car and wait? Do you walk up to other cars? how do you signal you only want to suck? It's all so confusing.
